We had a very soggy day yesterday (Sun). The footfall in the show was well down it seemed. BUT – the evening was very much better.
We were invited onto nb ‘Dolce Far Niente’ by Stephen and Jayne who provided a great pasta meal. Doug had prepared a lemon torte (which he managed to get there from our boat through the heavy rain). We also met Chris and Lesley from nb ‘Eleventh Heaven’, which is Braidbars’ showboat this year, and Bill and Eileen (?) another Braidbar neighbour. Adam, from nb Briar Rose joined us later for a lively evening (as it turned out).

As the evening grew darker so did the dance floor!
We were joined by Pete (the tall one), owner of Braidbar Boats, for a short while strutting his stuff on the dance floor! He came to pick up his showboat clients (Chris and Lesley) to take them back to their hotel?
